Christian Nurture Programs |
Sunday School 9:45 - 10:45 am
Church Sunday school has always been the “hallmark” program of our ministry of Christian nurture. It is the one time of the week when the whole family can gather together and be nurtured and educated in the faith. In the same way we need an education to “make it” in this life, we also need a Christian education to make it in the Christian life! There is something for everyone during our Sunday school hour - and the Christian Education Ministry Team encourages you to take full advantage of it.

Infants & Toddlers
Our youngest members are cared for under the best of supervision, including a paid staff person. Our nursery is located upstairs in our education wing.
Toddler Sunday School (2 & 3 year olds)
Children ages 2-3 enjoy a wonderful Sunday school experience that exposes them to foundational stories of the Bible. This is accomplished through center time, games and crafts, and much more. The class meets upstairs in our educational wing next to the nursery. Following Sunday School the 2 year olds will go to the nursery.
Elementary Ages (4 years old - 5th grade)
Our Elementary children experience the Bible through the Rotation Workshop Model. The children will be exposed to one Bible story or Christian/Presbyterian theme every 6 weeks. During those six weeks they rotate to a different workshop each week where they experience the story from a different angle. The workshops are: art, drama & puppets, music & storytelling, movies, computers and Bible games and more.
Youth (grade 6 - 12)
This group strives to actively engage their faith in Bible study and discussion, asking provoking questions in a reassuring atmosphere. Teachers respond well to adolescents and their needs as they apply their faith in everyday life. Both Middle and High school meet in the Lighthouse, our youth house located next to the church playground.
Adults
Our adult Sunday school ministry offers a variety of classes for all ages that helps enrich the Christian journey for its participants. These classes vary in theme but always include concrete bible study, enriching discussion, and meaningful topics.

Odds & Ends Class - Educational Wing, upstairs

This wonderful event is held every June and is an intergenerational event – children, youth and adults coming together to learn about God! It begins with a kick-off picnic and kickball game on Sunday night, followed by study, recreation, fun and fellowship at the church in the evenings during the week. In addition, a special offering is collected to support a specific charity. This is a wonderful time for all ages to get together during the summer months and experience God!

Get Ready, Get Set Worship! |
Our church feels it is important to educate our children on the “hows” and “whys” of Presbyterian worship. This program is for Grades K-2 and is held in the spring of each year, led by our Program Director with the assistance of the minister. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children of our church to experience worship!
